Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of 3 numbers is 12
a + b + c = 12
and the sum of their squares is 56.
a^2 + b^2 + c^2 = 56
The first 6 perfect squares
1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36
Subtract any two from 56 and see if you get a third perfect square
56 - 36 - 16 = 4
6 + 4 + 2 = 12
Find the numbers 2, 4, 6
