Question 950013: What part of 90% alcohol must be removed and replaced by an equal amount of pure alcohol to make 95% alcohol solution?
Answer by josgarithmetic(39617) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This would work just like the typical radiator antifreeze drain-and-replace problem. Assume any volume quantity to start with that you want. Pick something convenient like 1 or 100 in whatever units preferred.
Drain and Replace, works same way no matter alcohol or antifreeze or anything in the solution mixture
