How many liters of a 10% alcohol solution must be mixed with 90 liters of a 60% solution to get a 30% solution?
Let us say we are mixing 'x' litre of solution which is having 10% of alcohol
Hence the given condition can be written in an equations form as
0.10x + 0.60*(90) = 0.30(x + 90)
0.10x + 54 = 0.3x + 27
-0.2x = -27
x = 135 liters [Answer]
