1) A jazz lounge holds 90 seats. A promoter plans to set up 35 VIP seats at $50 each and the rest at $30 each. How much is the total ticket revenue if the lounge is sold out?
2) A confectioner melts together two different kinds of chocolate to try out a new recipe. She uses 4 ounces of chocolate that's 50% cocoa, and 6 ounces of another chocolate that's 80% cocoa. How many ounces of pure cocoa is in the mix?
