How many milliliters of pure acid must be added to 150 milliliters of a 30% acid solution to obtain a 40% acid solution
-----------------
Equation:
acid + acid = acid
0.30*150 + 1*x = 0.40(150+x)
------
30*150 + 100x = 40*150 + 40x
60x = 10*150
x = (1/6)150
x = 25 mm (amt of pure acid needed)
