How do I set up problems like these? :
A 5L solution that was 12% vinegar was mixed with a 14L solution that was 69% vinegar. Find the new concentration of vinegar.
I'm pretty stuck on how to set these things up. I can usually figure it out after I set it up. Thanks in advance.
Let new concentration be P
Therefore,
Solve for P to get the percentage of vinegar in new concentration.
**Hint: You should get a new concentration of .54, or 54%
