Problem: The Create a blend of beans that is 30% Kona beans, the beanery adds pure Kona beans to a 45 lb sack of Columbian beans. How many pounds of Kona beans should be added tot he 45 lb of Columbian?

If you are going to make a mixture that contains only Kona and Colombian and it will have 30% Kona, then, in the end, the mixture must be 70% Colombian. So if you have 45 lbs of Colombian and lbs of Kona, 45 pounds must be 70% of the sum. In other words:
