Question 877718: If I have 4litres of a 90% alcohol solution how many liters of a 70% solution would would this 4 litres make? I think the equation should look like this
(4*90)/70 =x so it would be a total of 5.14 liters of 70% solution
It has been many years since I have had to do algebra and I am not 100% sure my logic is correct!

4*0.9 = 3.6 l of alcohol

3.6/0.7 = 5.14 l of 70%
