I ended up with 116 ml of 5% must be added. Any Help

How much 15% acid is there?
I will assume that the total amount will be 50 ml which means your number of 116 ml is way to high.
x+y=50
.05(x)+.15*y=.08*50
x=35., y=15.
if we start out with 15 ml of 15% and add 35 ml of 5% then we will get 50 ml of 8%

First off, how can you add 116ml to come up with a 50ml volume?
So something is wrong.
Let be the amount of 5% acid, be the amount of 15% acid.
