Hi,

I bought a certain number  of eggs at four a rupee: (¹⁄₄each)   total cost rupees

I kept one-fifth of them  

and sold the rest at three a rupee: (¹⁄₃each)    

and gained a rupee:  how many did i buy ?

 

    16X -15X = 60
