Train A leaves the station traveling 20 m/h heading east.2 hours later train B leaves the same train traveling west at 35m/h.How long will it take for the two trains to be 205 miles away from each other?

in 2 hours train A has traveled 2*20 = 40 miles
when train B starts they are 40 miles apart
actual distance when both are moving = 205-40=165 miles
they are moving away from each other
add up their speeds
35+20 = 55 mph
D= 165 miles
t=d/r
=165/55
=3 hours
