Two ways to solve this
1)
from the water viewpoint
x=.8(x+100)
x=400 mL
2)
from the juice viewpoint
100=.2(x+100)
x=400 mL
check
.20*(500)=500/5=100 mL of juice
ok

Want your final juice to be 20%.
------
water + water = water
0*100 + 1*x = 0.20(100+x)
100x = 20*100 + 20x
80x = 2000
x = 25 mL (amt. of water needed)
