acid I 50.00% ---------------- x liters
Acid II 20.00% ------ 270 - x liters
Mixture 40.00% ---------------- 270
Total 270 liters
50.00% x + 20.00% ( 270 - x ) = 40.00% * 270
50 x + 20 ( 270 - x ) = 10800
50 x + 5400 - 20 x = 10800
50 x - 20 x = 10800 - -5400
30 x = 5400
/ 30
x = 180 liters 50.00% acid I
90 liters 20.00% Acid II
