Question 783242: if a container currently has 30% solutions and you want it to be 50% solution. how much should you replace with 100% soulution?
Answer by josgarithmetic(39618) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The capacity of the full container is not given. Call it C. The volume, v units of solution would be removed and replaced with v units of the 100% pure material to increase the percentage concentration. The volume of mixture before and after the change is the same.
You can solve for v in terms of C.
