Amount = x gallons ; Amt of alcohol = 0.70x gallons

50% solution DATA:
Amount 50 gallons ; Amt of alcohol = 0.5(50) = 25 gallons
--------------
Mixture DATA:
Amt = x+50 gallons ; Amt of alcohol = 0.60(x+50)= 0.6x+30 gallons

alcohol + alcohol = alcohol
0.7x + 25 = 0.6x+30
0.1x =5
x=50 gallons (Amt of 70% solution that must be used.)
