I need to find a system of equations and solve.
I'm not sure how i would set up the equation
x ml of a 60% salt solution are mixed with y ml of a 90% salt solution. The result is 35 ml of a 72% salt solution
***
let x=amount of 60% solution to be mixed with 90% solution
let y=amount of 90% solution to be mixed with 60% solution
x+y=35
60%x+90%y=72%*35
0.6x+0.9y=0.72*35
6x+9y=7.2*35
x=35-y
6(35-y)+9y=252
210-6y+9y=252
3y=42
y=14 ml
x=21 ml
