There is no number for an answer. We can only know in terms of "t"
You fill it to t/2
You take away 2 liters
t/2-2 is now in the container.
How full is the container?
Let's look at a numeric example.
if the container held 32 liters
we would have 32/2=16 when it is half full
Take away 2
16-2=14
part over whole
14/32=.4375=43.75%
We do the same with letters
(t/2-2)/t is the fraction
