Question 718173: Tell me about the concentration of a HCL solution which is the result of a combining a 54% HCL solution with a 23 % HCL solution?
Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You have to know what concentration you
want to end up with, and also the amount
that you want to end up with.
--------------------------
Suppose You want to get 10 liters of a 40% solution.
Then you would say:
Let = liters of 54% solution needed
Let = liters of 23% solution needed
-----------
-------------------------
Solve for and
( note that the amount could have been pounds,
ounces, etc. )
