Question 717180: I have a mixed solution of 5 items. Each compound contributes 20% to the total volume (5ml). I want to know the individual dry weights of each compound per volume of solution. Say I draw 100ul of the mixed solution and assume that it is 100% compound A. I know compound A's density and I can find the weight of compound A in that 100ul. I repeat this for each compound. Then, since I am actually dealing with a mixed solution, I take 20% of each of those weights as the contribution each compound has in weight to that 100ul. Is this even close to correct? Thank you.

Hard to follow what you say, but it seems to be yes. Your "compounds" must be liquids, maybe individual hydrocarbon liquids, or some extracted organic liquids. Is this in some academic context or a practical context?
