if a pharmacist has 20L of a 10% drug solution. How many liters of 5$ solution must be added to get a mixture that is 8%?

Equation:
drug + drug = drug
0.10*20 + 0.05x = 0.08(20+x)
----
Multiply thru by 100 to get:
10*20 + 5x = 8*20 + 8x
---
3x = 2*20
x = 40/3
---
x = 13 1/3 L (amt. of 5% solution needed)
