If she knows how tall she is, she can use her wingspan (the distance from the tips of her fingers if she spreads her arms out as far as she can) to estimate the dimensions.

So say she's 5 feet tall. Her wingspan would be roughly the same (not exactly the same, but close enough). So her wingspan is roughly 5 feet.

If the room was 20 feet long, then she would find that the length of the room would be equivalent to 4 of her wingspans, which she would use to get 20 feet approximately. The same can be done for the width as well. If she measures 3 wingspans for the width, then she would estimate the width to be 5*3 = 15 feet approximately.
