Question 70305: A total of $25,000 is invested in two funds paying 5% and 6% annual interest. The combined interest is $510. How much of the $25,000 is invested in each fund?
I posted a similar problem but I'm not sure how to set it up the way my teacher requires us too. We do 3x3 charts and put the information that way. like there would be a column for the amount, rate(or percentage) and total.
Answer by checkley75(3666) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.06x+.05(25000-x)=510 thuis is the problem you have presented HOWEVER
one set of facts are incorrect because even @ the lowext rate of 5% an investment of $25,000 yields $1,250 therefore this has to be the minimum gain!!!!!!!!!!
