Question 691910: Two friends work part time at a store. The first person works every 6th day and the second person works every 10th day. If they are both working today, how manu days pass before they both work on the same day again?
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20055)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The least common multiple of 6 and 10 is 30.
So 30 days from today both will work together again.

Explanation:

Pretend that today is July 31st.

Then one worker will work

August 6, August 12, August 18, August 24, and August 30.

The other worker will work these days:

August 10, August 20, August 30.
