An 800 g solution of acid and water contains 128 g of acid. What percent of the solution is acid?
x=percent of the solution that is acid
800x=128 divide both sides by 800
x=0.16 or 16%------------------------------is acid
CK
800-128=672 g of water
672/800=.84 or 84% water
84%+16%=100%
