How many mL of each solution do you need to create this final solution?
:
Let x = amt of syrup required
the total result is to be 65 ml, therefore:
(65-x) = amt of 60% soda
:
.80(65-x) = .60(65)
52 - .80x = 39
-.8x = 39 - 52
-.8x = -13
x =
x = +16.25 ml of syrup required
then
65-16.25 = 48.75 ml of soda solution
