Question 628751: A meatloaf mixture is made by combing ground turkey costing $1.49 per pound with ground beef costing $2.13 per pound. How many pounds of each should be used to make 8 lbs. of meatloaf mixture costing $1.89 per pound?
Please so work.
So far I've got 1.49x+2.13(1.49-x)=189(8)
Don't think I understand the method yet.
