How much water should be added to 50 ml of 25% acid solution to dilute it to 10% acid solution
.
Let x = amount (ml) of water added
then
.25(50) = .10(50+x)
12.5 = .5 + .10x
12 = .10x
12/.10 = x
120 ml = x
