How much water should be added to 24ML of 16% alcohol solution to reduce the concentration to 12%?

water + water = water
0.84*24 + x = 0.88(24+x)
84*24 + 100x = 88*24 + 88x
12x = 4*24
x = 8 ml (amt. of water needed)
