How much water should be added to 22mL of 12% alcohol solution to reduce the concentration of 11%
:
Let w = amt of water required to accomplish this
:
.12(22) = .11(w+22)
2.64 = .11w + 2.42
2.64 - 2.42 = .11w
.22 = .11w
w = .22/.11
w = 2 ml required
