Question 616933: I have 2 mixture questions I am currently stuck on that are actually of the free tutor, "rrapalje" own webpage.
question 1: How much water must be added to a 50% alcohol solution to obtain 100L of a 10% solution?
question 2: 50 tickets where sold for a BBQ at a total of $219. Prices where $2.50 children, $3.50 youth, $5.00 adults. There were 10 more youth tickets than childrens tickets. How many of each tickets were sold?

Why not ask "rrapalje"?
It is his problem.
Submit one problem at a time and no similar problems.
I will do the second.
a+y+c=50;
y=c+10;
2.5c+3.5y+5a=219
Now you have three equations with three unknowns. Solve with your favorite method.
