Shop C has 3 times as many machinists as Shop B
Or we can say that Shop B has 1/3 times as many machinists as Shop C
Let the Shop C has X machinists,
So Shop B has machinists
Shop A has 5 times as many machinists as Shop B
So Shop A has ,
i.e. (5/3)*X machinists
OR 5/3 times the machinists of Shop C
So Shop A has 5/3 times as many machinists as Shop C has
