Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
15 ml of 25% acid solution must be mixed with how much 30% acid to yield a 27% acid solution?
----
Equation:
acid + acid = acid
0.25*15 + 0.30x = 0.27(15+x)
----
Multiply thru by 100 to get:
25*15 + 30x = 27*15 + 27x
3x = 2*15
x = 10 ml (amt. of 30% solution needed)
