Question 554553: Its not much of a question as it is solving technique. Is it possible to solve a mixture word problem by using a percent/proportion set up? If I do that I would think I would have like 3 different proportions set up to input the information where it would belong. Then I saw the chart/table and the equation: the amount x the percent x the amount x the percent= percent and amount totals. Which is the best way to go about doing this?
