Question 462188: If I use a cream of 40% fat then I need 900 L of cream ...but I have only 500 L of cream of 40% fat which I used up ... I have cream of 45% fat also available......How much I should add 45% fat cream to 500L of 40 % cream to get the same result If I would have used 900 L of 40% cream ?
Answer by jorel1380(3719) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
900x.4=360
.4(500)+.45(z)=360
200+.45(z)=360
.45z=160
z=160/.45=355.55
If you add 355.55 L of 45% fat cream to 500 L of 40% cream, you will end up with the same amount of cream as 900 L of 40% cream..
