Answer by jorel1380(3719)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.4x+1(60-x)=30
.4x+60-x=30
60-.6x=30
30=.6x
30/.6=x=50
You need 50 ozs. of 40% solution and 10 ozs. of 100% solution to get 60 ozs. of 50% solution..
