$ 7.50 tickets = y
Total ticket = 180
value = 1620
x+y=180 .............1
10x+7.5 y=1620 .............2
multiply (1)by -7.5
Multiply (2) by 1
-7.5x-7.5y=-1350
10x+7.5y=1620
Add the two equations
2.5x=270
/2.5
x=108
plug value of x in (1)
1x+y=180
108+y=180
y=180-108
y=72
