Question 40897: In a lab experiment, 3 grams of acid were produced in 32 minutes and 9 grams in 48 minutes.
Answer by Nate(3500) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x-values are the grams of acid produced
y-values are the minutes taken to make the acid
(3,32) and (9,48)
This can be looked at as many ways, but I will do a linear line:
m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) = (48 - 32)/(9 - 3) = 16/6 = 8/3
Use slope-intercept form:
so ....
