At most, how much water can be evaporated from 300 liters of a 2% salt solution if the resulting solution is not to exceed 3% in salt content?
----
Equation:
water - water = water
0.98*300 - 1x = 0.97(300-x)
---
Multiply thru by 100 to get:
98*300 - 100x = 97*300 - 97x
3x = 300
x = 100 liters (amt. of water to evaporate)
