A solution of 100% concentration how much should I add to 15 litre of water to make the final concentration 2% ??
-----
Equation:
Let "x" be the amount of 100% solution you add.
---------------------------------
water + water = water
15 + 0*x = 0.98(15+x)
---
Multiply thru by 100 to get:
1500 + 0 = 98*15+98x
----
98x = 1500-1470
98x = 30
---
x = 30/98
---
x = 0.306 liters
