:
Let x = amt of raisins required
then
(10-x) = amt of peanuts
:
5x + 3.8(10-x) = 4(10)
5x + 38 - 3.8x = 40
5x - 3.8x = 40 - 38
1.2x = 2
x =
x = 1 kg of raisin
then
10 - 1 = 8 kg of peanuts
