Answer by robertb(5830)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
0.72*3 + 0.09x = 0.36(3 + x)
==> 2.16 + 0.09x = 1.08 + 0.36x
==>1.08 = 0.27x
x = 4 fluid ounces 9% acid solution.
