Find the equation of the line that bisects the first quadrant.
Sol'n:
since it will bisect the first quadrant, it pass through the origin having a coordinate of (0,0) and also have a slope of 1 (m=1).
from slope-intercept form:
y-y1 = m(x-x1)@ (0,0) and m = 1.
thus,
y-0 = 1(x-0)
y = x ---answer
