Hi,
Let x represent the amount of cashews , then (2000lb-x) will be the amount of peanuts
write as we read***
.20(2000lb - x) + .30x = .27(2000lb)
solve
.10x = .07*2000lb
x = 1400lb of cashews need to be used
checking our answer
120lb + 420lb = 540lb
