You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How many milliliters of water must be added to 500mL of a 40% solution of hydrochloric acid to reduce it to a 25% solution?
---------------
40% of 500 ml is 200 ml of acid.
For 200 ml to be 25%, the total has to be 800 ml
Add 300 ml of water.
