Question 227415: Mixing Solutions. Many occupations require the mixture of liquids to create a needed solution of a certain strength. Since the strength of a solution is dependent on the customers need, stockpiling all strengths is not economically possible. So, the solution is made to order.
Question 1: A pharmacist wants to make a solution that is 60% alcohol. On the shelf are two bottles of 40% and 20% strength alcohol. Explain the step(s) and the outcome of this mixture.

But this is not possible. You cannot make a mixture where the percent is greater than the ingredient's percentage
