18% of the total weight of the cookies is the chocolate chips, or 300 lbs. Let represent the total weight of the cookies in pounds, then is the weight of the chocolate chips, so you can say:

Solve for by dividing both sides by 0.18 to get the total weight of the cookies in pounds and then do your pounds to kilograms conversion. This will come out to a decimal fraction answer. My advice: Round to the nearest kilogram. The reason being that the given measurement, i.e. the weight of the chocolate chips, was expressed to the nearest pound, and no result calculated based on a measurement should be expressed to a greater precision than the least precise given measurement.
