Let x = amt drained (in liters) and replaced with 100% anti-freeze

then:
amt of 40% antifreeze = 15 - x
amt of 100% antifreeze = x

"60% antifreeze in tank" = "amt from 40% mix" + "amt from 100% mix"
.6(15) = "amt antifreeze from 40% mix" + "amt antifreeze from 100% mix"
.6(15) = .40(15 - x) + x
9 = 6 - .40x + x
9 = 6 + .60x
3 = .60x
5 liters = x
