let x="$10 bills", so x+25="$5 bills"
10(x)+5(x+25)=200 __ 10x+5x+125=200 __ 15x=75
Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x be the number of $10 bills.
10x+5(x+25)=200
10x+5x+125=200
15x+125-125=200-125
15x=75
15x/15=75/15
x=5
She has 5 $10 bills and 30 $5 bills.
