Question 1194202: You are given samples of cells from a plant. Your observation are that one group of cells have cell cycle that is 24 h in length and these cells are small. A second group of cells have a cell cycle that is 72 h in length and are larger compared to the first group of cell.
Which set of cell would you predict came from the root tip of the plant?
Which set of cells has the largest S.A.:V ratio(surface area to volume ratio)?
Which group of cell would be the most efficient?

The first and the third questions do not relate to the focus of this forum.

Regarding the second question, and assuming that the cell forms/shapes
are identical/similar, the ratio

surface area to the volume is the quantity reciprocal to linear size.

So, the mentioned ratio is smaller for the larger cell.
