If T (2,1), H(2,5) and R(-1,2) are the vertices of triangle THR. What is its area?

This triangle has the vertical side ("the base")  TH  of the length 5-1 = 4


and the height of the length 2 - (-1) = 2 + 1 = 3.


The area of the triangle is   = 2*3 = 6 square units.
